Losing weight the natural way is a safe and healthy method of weight loss. If you make small changes in your diet and lifestyle you can achieve your goal over short period time. Never go on a diet if you are really motivated to lose your weight, as dieting doesn’t guarantee permanent weight loss. If you wish to lose weight then here are tips for healthy weight loss.

  • Always choose good quality, fresh and organic foods. At least 75% of your food portion should include vegetables.
  • Eat whole foods that provide essential nutrients to the body and help in weight loss.
  • Eat single ingredient foods in one meal because digestion time is different of each food.
  • Eating times also play a part in losing weight. The best eating times for breakfast are between 6 AM and 8 AM, lunch between 12 PM and 2PM and dinner between 6 PM and 8 PM.
  • Never eat food in a standing position as your stomach needs energy to digest food; and you are using your energy while standing, which you need for digestion. The best pose to eat food is to sit on the floor in a crossed leg position or a kneeling position sitting on the heels, which is called a Diamond Pose.
  • Drink 1.2 liters of water every day. The drinking water temperature must be equal to your body temperature, which is 37 degrees.
  • Drink a couple of glasses of water on an empty stomach just after you wake up. Add fresh lemon juice for better results.
  • Drink water sip by sip, as this will improve your digestion and will help to absorb nutrients in your body.
  • Don’t drink water just before or after having your meal. If you do so it will slow down the digestion process and the nutrients wont absorb properly. The ideal time to drink water is 45 minutes before eating a meal and 2 hours after you have had your meal.
  • Eat weight loss friendly foods and vegetables that are high in water and rich in fiber content.
  • Do some exercise and practice yoga in the morning and burn calories while your stomach is empty.
  • Eat boiled eggs and plant based protein for breakfast. The protein will help to keep you energized.
  • Drink green tea instead of tea or coffee.
  • Cook with coconut oil, as it will keep your arteries unclogged.
  • Cut down on foods that contain a lot of sugar, this will also help to lose weight.
  • Say good-bye to fizzy and added sugar drinks. These drinks are bad for your health and also raise your weight.
  • Eat plant based raw foods like fruits & vegetables containing more fiber.
  • Include foods in your diet that are high in fiber and low in carbohydrates.
  • Portion size also maters so eat smaller portions of foods.
  • Brush your teeth at least twice a day most ideally after breakfast and dinner.
  • Go to bed between ten and eleven PM. You need at least six to seven hours of sleep for your body to function properly.
  • Stay relaxed and get rid of stress and negative thoughts as this will also help to lose weight.
